1. Introduction

Myolisi Prince Masuku ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MazikMail mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

MazikMail does not collect any data from its users. We do not use analytics software or third-party SDKs that collect your personal information for advertising or tracking purposes.

3. Information You Provide Directly

While we do not automatically collect data, you may choose to provide us with information to use specific features:

Email Address: When you enter your email address to identify your campaigns or manage your account, this email is stored locally on your device.

Submitted Content: When you create a submission (MP3 files, PDFs, images), these files are processed locally and sent via our backend email API to the media contacts you select.

4. How We Use Information

The limited information processed locally is used solely for the following purposes:

To enable you to send music submissions to media contacts.

To track the open rates of the emails you send.

To associate your campaigns and replies with your email address.

5. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Your email address and app preferences are stored locally on your device.

Backend Processing: When you send a submission, the data (email content and attachments) is sent to our secure backend server. We do not permanently store the content of your emails on our servers beyond what is necessary to process the request and track open rates.

Payment Data: All payments are processed by respective stores. We do not have access to your credit card or payment details.

6. Email Tracking and Replies

Our service uses a tracking pixel in emails to log open counts. If a media contact replies to your email, that reply is stored on our server and associated with your email address so that you can view it within the App's "Replies" section. This is the only personal information tied to your email on our backend.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly contact or engage with children under 13.

The App integrates with the following third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies:

9. Your Rights Under POPIA

If you are a South African user, you have the right to:

Request access to the personal information we hold about you (note that we hold very little).

Request correction or deletion of your information.

Object to the processing of your information.

To exercise these rights, please contact us. Since most data is stored locally, you can also delete it by deleting the App or resetting it via the "Delete User" function within the App.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
